Salisbury, NC

The campus of Trinity Oaks is located in historic Salisbury, North Carolina, near the gently rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a few hours from the magnificent Carolina beaches. Appreciating Salisbury, so rich in history, is a large part of the Trinity Oaks experience. Daniel Boone was raised in Rowan County and Andrew Jackson studied law here. Other historic sites include the Salisbury National Cemetery, which was once a Confederate prison, Rowan Museum, and the restored Railroad Roundhouse and Transportation Museum in nearby Spencer.

With a population of 28,000 people, Salisbury offers small town living with an impressive array of local activities including annual tours of historic homes and landmarks. Antiquing is a popular pastime and downtown shopping is a treat. Salisbury has a fine symphony, a local community theater, several art galleries, and a host of musical entertainment offerings. Golfers have their choice of five public golf courses in addition to the private County Club of Salisbury. Salisbury is also the home of Catawba College, Livingstone College, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and Hood Seminary.
